Scientists at the Russian Novosibirsk State University have developed a new generation of small satellites.

The Russian news agency TASS quoted Mikhail Fedoruk, the university’s president, as saying today that “scientists at the Advanced Engineering School of the Russian Novosibirsk State University have developed a group of small satellites, four of which will be officially ready by the end of this year.” Fedoruk pointed out that the university is working to develop its capabilities in the field of space industries, and is the main implementer of the Griffin project, which is implemented within the framework of the Russian Federal Sphere Project supervised by the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, as the university designs, assembles and tests satellites.

Russia has been working to develop new technologies in the field of space industry for years.
