The Washington Post’s Caroline Kitchener won the National Reporting award for a story about the repercussions of the abortion decision.
The New York Times won the International Reporting category award, and the Associated Press won the Breaking News Photography award. The Los Angeles Times was honored the Breaking News Reporting award.
Barbara Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead and Hernan Diaz’s Trust won the Pulitzer prize for fiction. Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels won the Pulitzer for music.
