Palestinian Killed in Confrontations with Occupation in West Bank

Two Palestinians, including a teenager, were shot and injured this evening by Israeli occupation forces in confrontations that broke out in the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

Palestinian news agency Wafa reported today that the confrontations broke out after the occupation military’s incursion into the said village, during which they attacked residents with live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades, shooting and seriously injuring two people.

The ministry said two that two people were brought to the hospital with critical gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen. One of the injured succumbed to his critical head wounds shortly after reaching the hospital. He was 17 years of age. Dozens of others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
