Palestinian Boy Martyred and 200 Injured in West Bank

A Palestinian boy was killed today and two others were injured in an Israeli army assault on Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) said that a large number of Israeli occupation forces raided the refugee camp, surrounding a number of homes, leading to confrontations, as a result of which Mohammad Fayez Balhan,15 year-old was shot by live fire in the head and chest, with two others shot in their lower limbs.

The injured were taken to the hospital, before Balhan succumbed to his injuries at a later time.

With Balhan’s passing away, the Palestinian death toll this year has reached to 96 martyrs, amongst them 18 minors, a woman, and a young man from the town of Hura in the Al Naqab desert.

At least 216 Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, suffocation, and/or bruises, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sabih area, south of Nablus.

Palestinian sources reported that 22 young men were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, while 7 others were bruised as a result of falling as the Israeli soldiers were chasing them, in addition to 185 others getting suffocated with poisonous gas, during the clashes that erupted at Jabal Sabih.
