Morocco, Czech Republic to Boost cooperation in Transport Sector

Morocco’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohammed Abdeljalil, and his Czech peer, Martin Kupka, held, here Monday, talks on means to boost bilateral cooperation in the transport sector.



“The two countries have decided to work together to strengthen air connections to further develop tourism between the Czech Republic and Morocco, and to step up bilateral exchanges to promote cooperation in the field of transport”, Mr. Abdeljalil told MAP on the sidelines of this meeting.



For his part, Mr. Kupka called for strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields, notably transport.



The meeting, which was an opportunity to discuss various subjects of common interest, such as the railway potential offered by Morocco, the development of cooperation in the field of air and rail transport between the two countries, and the participation of Morocco at the 27th World Road Congress (October 2- 6 in Prague), was held on the sidelines of the E-Fuels Conference, organized by the German Ministry for Digital and Transport.
