Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi discussed with Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini the means to provide the necessary support to the UNRWA.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed the ongoing preparations for the ministerial meeting to be organized by Jordan and Sweden on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly to raise awareness of the role of UNRWA and mobilize the necessary support for it.
