Eurozone finance ministers agreed on the need to reduce public spending in the bloc’s member states, in light of the continuing high inflation rate in the EU.
After a meeting in Brussels today, the ministers affirmed the previous recommendations that the European Union should work to control inflation and push it down the path of decline. They also discussed the possibility of rebuilding reserves, in order to enhance the flexibility of the member states in facing future challenges.
