The incident occurred in Kananaskis Country of the province after a Piper PA-32 crashed, killing all six passengers, Canadian media reported Sunday quoting a statement issued by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said the plane with a pilot and five passengers aboard took off from Springbank Airport, west of Calgary, on Friday night and was headed for Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
